Tonight’s Cosmic Jazz had a Brazilian flavour with some Fender Rhodes grooves from Domenico +2 and two tracks from a fascinating new 2CD compilation, Oi! A Nova Musica Brasiliera! Jazz heads weren’t forgotten though – we featured music from the recently released Windmill Tilter, a lost classic from Kenny Wheeler and John Dankworth, and played tracks from two of our favourite alto players – Frank Morgan and Art Pepper.
